No Achievement = No Skill. The constant increase in runs demanding an achievement before they'll let you into a run brings this topic. We'll both discuss this topic and what you can do if you don't have achievements.

It's happening more and more often these days. If you're at the bleeding edge you're often fine but if you're not or just trying to get your alts into a run many raid leaders just don't listen to your reasonable requests.

There are two sides to every coin and I can understand why raid leaders do this. There's nothing worse than inviting multiple people into your run who don't listen who are under geared and are totally clueless.

Unfortunately raid leaders overreact to this by requiring high gearscore levels and achievements. It's like they're acting like a bank. You need to proove you don't need to go on a run to be able to get accepted into the run.

You cannot blame people to want to go with higher geared and experienced raiders. If you can, it makes the run a lot smoother and faster.

So what can you do about raid leaders who demand an achievement before you can get into their raid?

There is a mod that comes to your rescue. It's called Underachiever. It'll let you link the achievement even if you haven't done it yet.

While Underachiever does help you remove the pesky need to have the achievement, I'd suggest not using it with more experienced raid leaders. They can quite easily catch you in a lie and check your credentials online.

It'll work best on lesser experienced raid leaders who don't really know any better.

The main problem with this: The runs that you'll be able to get in with this mod are often the runs that you won't want to be in. Kind of a catch-22. It'll be great to get in, down the first few bosses, grab your loot before the raid falls apart.

Underachiever is best used on your alts. In that case, you will know the encounters already, but not have the achievement on your alt(s).
