Healing in 3.2: Best Glyphs updated for 3.2
This is a list of Glyphs that are used in 3.2 for Holy Paladins.
Major Glyphs:
While it's not entirely useful on each and every raid group or encounter, it's very useful on the majority of raid groups where you have Melee (which is often). To buff up numbers, cast beacon of light on the tank and throw holy light on the Melee. This Glyph will proc healing the other melee and the beacon will keep the tank topped up.
Seal of Wisdom is an important glyph to have with it reducing the mana cost of spells by 5%, especially with us Holy Paladin's looking for ways to reduce our mana costs or increase our mana returns. You cannot really go wrong with this Glyph.
Ever since 100% of our over heals and effective heals are passed on to the beacon target, we have increased our dependance on Beacon of Light. This Glyph has now become a solid choice. It reduces your mana usage by approximately 500 mana per minute making it almost as good as your meta gem. Not only that, if gives you an extra half a Global Cool down every minute ;)
Alternatives:
This is like a little mana pot in itself. Running low on mana, for maximum effect make sure Beacon of light is on your tank target (lets face it, we're always healing the tanks) and Lay on Hands yourself. Your heal will go through to the tank, but you'll get both the mana gain bonus from this Glyph. Helpful if you are struggling for mana.
This Glyph only really becomes useful on an encounter where you need all the mana you can get. Most specifically General Vezax hard mode. The extra 5% crit does improve the mana you return from crits. This glyph will replace Glyph of Holy Light for this encounter.
Minor Glyphs:
This Glyph is now #1 on my minor glyph list, especially when there are only 2 paladin's in a group, and only one of them is holy (10 mans most often, but sometimes in some raid compositions in 25 mans). On Paladin's there will be Kings and then Might/Wisdom. You put a full Might on your ret/prot paladin and a 10 minute Wisdom on yourself (which becomes a 30 min, thanks to this Glyph).
Decreases the cool down of Lay on hands. While not ground breaking, it is quite helpful.
There's not a lof of choices after the first 2 glyphs, so you can leave it blank or throw in either Glyph of the Wise or Glyph of Blessing of Kings. Pick one of them. You'll probably get slightly more use out of the Glyph of the Wise, especially during trash, but only slightly.
