Healing in 3.2: Healing Meters in 3.2
This is NOT an article on how to top the healing meters. It's more of a "State of the Union" for how we're going on the healing meters.
As per usual, the good Holy Paladin's that are putting in a lot of effort are being rewarded and coming out on the meters quite well.
Some are reporting that Shammies and priests are hard to beat. I'm finding a single druid with his legendary mace tough to beat, but all others are constantly coming up short.
There are always encounters that are good and bad for you, so you have to take that into account.
The Paladin's that are coming out well are those who keep Beacon of Light active on the main tank, also keep their Judgements of the Wise active, stack their gear heavily with Intellect and casting a lot of Holy Light's on the melee or other groups that are bunched up. A lot of pro-active stuff and continual casting. If you're doing it right, you'll get RSI soon enough ;)
Those who are sitting around waiting for damage and then casting their spells, they're getting left behind in the dust.
If you're not consistantly in the top 2 on the healing meters (especially in pugs) then you're seriously doing something wrong and it's time you thought on how to pick up your game.
