Healing in 3.2: Holy Light
Holy Light is our big guns healing spell.
At level 80 Holy Light has a base cast time of 2.5 seconds, costs 1161 mana to cast and heals 4888 to 5444 plus an amount based on your spell power plus other effects brought by talents, certain items and buffs brought by other players.
While it's quite easy to keep most people up using Holy Light, most Holy Paladin's find themselves running out of mana if this is their only spell they cast. Holy Light is an extremely important spell to use, especially in hard mode encounters.
Since you're mostly not going to be able to continue to spam Holy Light 100% of the time, you'll have to combine usage with Flash of Light, Holy Shock, Beacon of Light, Sacred Shield and other holy spells.
Healing Amounts:
There are 3 buff's that adjust the way that you calculate your heal strength based on your Spell Power. That is the Healing Light talent, the Divinity talent and Improved Devotion Aura / Tree of Life Aura (These don't stack).
